Faith has always played a prominent role in Kristen Baker’s life, and the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary continues to shape her faith and ministry. After working in corporate America for several years, yet feeling the call to ministry, Baker started classes in the Master of Divinity program in 2019.

On a bright winter day, Lenoir-Rhyne hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of Moretz Stadium on its Hickory campus on Monday, Jan. 24. The stadium is home to football and men’s and women’s lacrosse.

Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ is grieving the loss of one of our student-athletes. Omari Alexander, a 19-year-old sophomore from Concord, North Carolina and member of the LR football team, was killed overnight on November 20 in an off-campus incident in Hickory.

Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ will receive $4.3 million as part of the North Carolina state budget that was signed into law on November 18.

Growing up, junior education major Zakiya Ruth was raised to be selfless and help others. Now as part of the Teaching Scholars program, she is tutoring students in the classroom.
