LR recognizes special group of seniors in commencement ceremonies
The first week in May, Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ will hold in-person commencement ceremonies recognizing the classes of 2020 and 2021.
"Being able to recognize our graduating seniors with a dedicated, in-person ceremony in a safe manner is important to us, and we are happy to be able to honor them in this way," said Lenoir-Rhyne President Dr. Fred Whitt. "They've worked tremendously hard for this achievement. Our Class of 2020 graduates, in particular, have been patient and understanding given the restrictions of the pandemic, and we are finally able to celebrate them."

A $265,000 grant from the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation will provide scholarships for undergraduate nursing students at Lenoir-Rhyne in 2025–26, supporting women pursuing careers that serve the healthcare needs of their communities.
